Who will be the first eliminated from the “Star Ac'” 2022? This was the main issue of the second prime-time offered by TF1 this Saturday evening. After the presentation of the candidates last week, the formidable evaluations put Amisse, Julien and Ahcène on the hot seat. Two will be saved at the end of the evening, one by the public, and the other by his comrades. This second Saturday evening also marks the arrival of the first artists who came to sing with the students. On the program, Juliette Armanet, Julien Clerc, Amir, Adé, Naps and Lewis Capaldi. Serious things begin.

In a supercharged atmosphere and as in the good old days, the students enter two by two to the music of their new anthem, “Ne partez pas sans moi”, by Céline Dion. Lewis Capaldi then opens the ball for a duet with Anisha, the revelation of the first prime time. On “Someone You Loved”, the young academician holds her rank as favorite and reaps the praises of the Scottish star. No time to breathe because Chris and Juliette Armanet are already setting the stage on fire with “Flame”. The solar interpretation thrills the public and the jury.

Always smiling although in danger, Ahcène tries to save her place with “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen, sung solo and on a single piano background. Despite his good will, the performance of the candidate lacks a bit of breath and emotion. The best dancer in the castle, Carla, continues with “Me… Lolita” by Alizée, whose very demanding choreography brings out her vocal limits. This does not prevent the jury from congratulating her. He is definitely in a good mood.

“We are not at that level yet”

“Clash of the Divas” on “I’ll Never Love Again” by Lady Gaga. By their admission, Léa, Anisha and Enola take themselves for Beyoncé, Lara Fabian and Céline Dion. “We are not yet at that level,” tempers Michael Goldman at the end of the exercise. One room, two atmospheres: the rapper Naps, accompanied by Cenzo and Tiana, immediately make a thunderous entrance from the bleachers. Full of energy, the hit “La kiffance” however suffers from the forced voice of the youngest from Dammarie-les-Lys, Tiana, no doubt carried away by her momentum.

In a completely different register, Adele’s hit “Rolling In The Deep” resounds on the Plaine Saint-Denis plateau. Behind the microphone, Amisse tries to win the decision with a courageous choice which however reveals some problems of accuracy. “Bravo, it’s progressing”, nevertheless encourages Laure Ballon, the scenic expression teacher. Decidedly in high demand on this second prime time, Anisha goes on stage for the third time for a medley by Julien Clerc shared with Louis and Paola. The set is uneven and a bit boring.

Restoring the fishing, “Can’t Stop The Feeling” by Justin Timberlake highlights the showmanship abilities of Cenzo, Stanislas and Chris. The boy band rightly receives congratulations from Yanis Marshall for its choreography. Then it’s the turn of the likeable dunce cap of the week, Julien, to perform “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran. In difficulty since the beginning of the adventure, the darling of the public shows a promising grain of voice. Auspicious.

“What a gift you are giving us Amir! exclaims Nikos Aliagas at the end of the title “Retina”, sung by the ex-candidate for Eurovision and Léa. “Amir gave 300% and Léa 60%. Léa, don’t hide anymore, ”warns Laure Ballon, visibly disappointed by the attitude of the academician. Suspended in the air, Louis and Enola deliver at the end of the evening a beautiful “Novel of friendship” marked by the surprise entry of a childhood friend of the candidate. The emotional Louis is on the verge of tears.

11:40 p.m., the tension rises a notch when the usher brings the first envelope of the season. Julien is unsurprisingly saved by the public. Ahcène and Amisse appear before their comrades to hear their sentence. Embarrassed, the latter are slow to give their vote, to end up in a perfect equality. The fished out, Julien, then discovers to his greatest dismay that he must decide between them. “I can’t do that, it’s dead!” warns the candidate. Resonated by Nikos, the academician finally designates Ahcène by interpreting an extract from his evening song, “Bohemian Rhapsody”. Amisse is therefore the first eliminated from the competition.
