The Association for the Promotion of the Palliative Care Unit in Delmenhorst recently celebrated its tenth anniversary with a large number of visitors in the market hall. During the festival, the chairman Heino Brackhahn promoted a new donation project in the course of the new construction of the Delme Klinikum Delmenhorst: With the completion of the new building planned for 2027 the palliative care unit gets new premises on the ground floor of the Höger building. The planned seven hospital rooms are to be equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows in order to offer patients the opportunity to go outside directly from their room with their bed. For the design of the outdoor area, the support association of the Delmenhorst palliative care station is now looking for active supporters and donations.
Loge is already making a donation
There was a donation directly at the festival: Jörg Redenius handed over 2000 euros as chairman of the lodge “Horst zurEST”. In addition, the palliative care station, which has existed for 15 years, collects donations for new, functional and comfortable seating for the current patient rooms.
