FRMF: Licenses, disciplinary code and competition regulations at the heart of a meeting of the Steering Committee

Rabat – The Steering Committee of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) held a meeting on Thursday, devoted in particular to the adoption of the proposed final version of the regulations for granting licenses to clubs and the amendments proposed by the joint committee relating to the Disciplinary Code and the competition regulations.

At this meeting, held at the FRMF headquarters, the Steering Committee decided that the filing of sports contracts be completed on the digital platform dedicated to this purpose, within fifteen days following the date of legalized signature of the contract. Similarly, the digital match sheet (FMN) was adopted and it was agreed to generalize it from the 2024-2025 season at the level of the National Amateur Football League (LNFA), the National Women’s Football League (LNFF) and the National Diversified Football League (LNFD). Regarding the Throne Cup, it was decided to schedule, before the end of December of each sports season, the qualifying matches reserved for the regional leagues and the National Amateur Football League (LNFA). Speaking at this session, held following the meeting of July 25, the president of the FRMF, Fouzi Lekjaa called on all stakeholders in the football sphere to adhere to the project of the candidacy for the FIFA-2030 World Cup, which will see the construction of sports infrastructures including training grounds, as well as roads and hotels. He recalled, in this sense, the submission by Morocco, last Monday in Paris, of the official file of the candidacy for the World Cup-2030, jointly with Spain and Portugal.
