Speaking at the opening of this meeting, the president of FRMF, Fouzi Lekjaa, thanked all the parties who contributed to the success of the resumption of the current season, highlighting the efforts made by the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports to preserve the health of all the components of the national round ball, including the administrative staff of the FRMF and the National Professional Football League (LNFP).
In this sense, the president of the FRMF wished a speedy recovery to those infected with COVID-19, while stressing the imperative of respecting the health protocol, in order to guarantee the smooth running of national football activity.
Mr. Lekjaa reiterated his support to the president of Ittihad of Tangier (IRT) regarding the monitoring of the health situation within his club, wishing a good recovery to all the components of the Tangier team, as well as the other people contaminated in the other clubs in order to quickly resume the matches of the national championship.
He also indicated that the FRMF and the LNFP are willing to support the IRT and other clubs in order to overcome these health conditions.
For his part, the president of the IRT and member of the FRMF Steering Committee, Mr. Hamid Abarchane thanked Mr. Lekjaa for his continued support and monitoring of the health situation within the club, in particular the sending by the LNFP of a medical unit.
The Chairman of the Control and Management Commission, Mr. Abdelaziz Talbi, gave an overview of the current situation in the process of creating sports companies by Botola pro D1 and D2 clubs according to the provisions of Law 30-09 relating to physical education and sports.
The FRMF president also stated that the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports will continue the financial aid promised to clubs that have met all the conditions for creating the sports society, starting from the beginning of next week.
Regarding the development and promotion of women’s football, Mr. Lekjaa recalled the clauses of the objectives contract signed on August 6, 2020, between the FRMF, the National Women’s Football League, the Regional Leagues and the National Technical Directorate.
The president of the National Amateur Football League (LNFA), Mr. Jamal Snoussi, presented a presentation on the standard contract that should bind players to amateur clubs in the future, emphasizing that certain clauses of these standard contracts will be amended by the jurisdictional commissions, in particular with the replacement of the term contract by commitment.
At the request of the president of the National League of Diversified Football (LNFD), Mr. Taha El Mansouri, the resumption of the national indoor football championship was postponed to a date to be set by the LNFD.
At the end of this meeting, and in coordination between the president of the FRMF and the president of the LNFP, Mr. Khalid M’ghafri was appointed to the post of Secretary General of the LNFP while Mr. Mouad Hajji, former director of national selections, was appointed general coordinator following the end of his term as Secretary General of CAF.
