There are many TV series which for one reason or another have a stigma on them as ‘series intended for geeks’, either because of their plot or because of the characters. However – precisely those series can be more accessible to the general public. This is our list!

One of the most popular series ever, got its place for a reason. The series, which some would say is mainly intended for geeks, due to the fact that its protagonists are such follows the hair-raising plots of several “not the most acceptable” boys from the town of Hawkins who fall into surprising adventures from the world of science fiction. This is the proof that stigma – may turn out to be a mistake!
The Umbrella Academy
Until the arrival of the “Marvel” films, superheroes were seen as a consumer product of ‘geeks’ only, but since then – the world of superheroes has been growing into more and more content in all kinds of entities – such as on Netflix with the ‘Umbrella Academy’. The series does follow a group of superheroes, but it is actually about much more than that. It is very funny and full of amusing and strange situations that will put a smile on your face and keep you glued to the screen. In the center of the plot – a family consisting of adopted children with superpowers who are forced to save humanity from an asteroid and even go back in time (sound familiar?).
shadow Hunters
We also tend to agree that a series dealing with vampires, witches and werewolves may not suit everyone. However, the Shadowhunters series is one of those series that is very easy to love, yes, even if you are not a fan of the genre, the series is surprising and suspenseful and you are guaranteed to enjoy it!
To this day
It may be true that a series dealing with children’s fairy tales will not sound like a series that is suitable for everyone, at the same time, ‘To this very day’ is such a successful series that appeals to many audiences so that in our opinion it does not matter how you define yourself, we strongly recommend the series. The big bang
Many would say that a comedy series about a bunch of geeks full of jokes from their world would be only for this type of people, but that’s not the case. ‘The Big Bang’ penetrated the hearts of countless viewers around the world, most of whom would not define themselves as geeks, this is because the series is funny and talks a lot about situations from everyday life so that everyone can love it. She gives a humorous glimpse into the lives of real geeks and she does it superbly and with so much humor and grace.
