In this regard, the health department and airport officials said: There are no direct flights to Coimbatore airport from countries where the new type of virus has spread. However, it has been decided to monitor the arrival of airports from infected countries to airports like Chennai and Bangalore and from there to Coimbatore airport. Special inspection teams are involved in this. At the airport, compulsory corona screening is performed on people from 12 countries, including South Africa, China, New Zealand, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Bangladesh, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Singapore and Israel, which have been identified as high-risk countries.

They are forced to be isolated in homes for 7 days. On the 8th day they will have a corona test again. Monitoring officers have been appointed for this purpose. In addition, if 99 foreigners have been vaccinated 2 times, they do not need testing. They only undergo body temperature testing. Corona testing will be done for those who have not been vaccinated.
