Assaf Azoulay, VP of Marketing at Bank Hapoalim for the past five years, is moving to the investment group in the high-tech Team8.

In his new role, Azoulay will be responsible for the group’s marketing strategy and its funds, as well as accompanying the portfolio companies. Team8, founded by Nadav Tzafrir, former commander of 8200, specializes in the establishment and development of technology companies in the fields of cyber, data and fintech. At the same time it also has a venture capital fund for investing in the early stages.
Azoulay is considered to have led in recent years the marketing and advertising strategy of Bank Hapoalim’s BIT application and the refreshing of the bank’s general media language. Azoulay previously served as CEO of BBDO IM, the strategic consulting firm of the Gitam BBDO Group.
Team8 has recently thickened its management backbone of technology and banking professionals, the most prominent of which is Rakefet Rusk Aminach, who was CEO of Bank Leumi. Asia, co-founder of the etoro investment management platform, which is set to go public soon on Wall Street at a value of about $ 10 billion.
