BOLZANO. FlixBus is strengthening its connections to and from Alto Adige: throughout the summer, Bolzano will be connected every day with around 60 cities, 20 of which are abroad. But the company is also strengthening its presence in small towns such as Vipiteno, Lana, Chiusa and Marlengo, “to contribute to the deconcentration of tourist flows and the promotion of internal areas, recognized by public debate as possible hubs for the development of more sustainable lifestyles”, reads the Flixbus note.
Munich will be connected up to 72 times a week and Innsbruck up to 48 to accommodate tourist flows from Bavaria and Austria, but up to 11 weekly trips will also operate from Frankfurtseven from Berlin e Stuttgart and five from Prague. Connections to the Adriatic have also been strengthened (Jesolo will be reachable seven times a week) and Garda, with Bardolino and Lazise. It also increases the frequency of connections with Gardaland, which increases to 14 per week.
At a national level, Bolzano will be able to benefit from new arrivals from large Italian cities within a short radius such as Venice, where the frequency of trips increases from 19 to 26 per week, or Verona, with an increase from 66 to up to 77 trips per week.
On the medium and long-haul, up to 49 trips will arrive in Trento every week from Milan, up to 22 from Bologna, up to 43 from Florence and up to 36 from Rome. Bolzano is also connected to the airports of Orio al Serio (up to 35 trips per week), Marco Polo (up to 21) and Malpensa and Linate (up to seven), ideal for those who, after landing, want to reach Alto Adige by FlixBus.
