Punch EV

Tata Motors is all set to launch an all-electric version of the Punch micro SUV. Tata is expected to unveil it at the 2023 Auto Expo. Production is expected to begin in June.

BYD

BYD and Build Your Dreams is one of the most anticipated vehicles from China Electric. The Born Electric model measures 4800mm in length, 1875mm in width and 1460mm in height with a wheelbase of 2875mm. It is 106mm longer, 58mm narrower and 17mm taller than the Tesla Model 3. Additionally, the sedan’s wheelbase is 45 mm longer than the Tesla’s 2,875 mm wheelbase.

Hyundai Ioniq 5

Hyundai has announced that the Hyundai Ioniq 5 price will be announced at the Auto Expo. Along with this, the Ioniq 6 is expected to showcase an electric sedan. This is Hyundai’s second product based on the e-GMP skateboard structure.

Kia EV9

Korean automaker Kia has confirmed that the EV9 SUV will debut at the 2023 Auto Expo. This model will be the brand’s flagship model in the electric car range. The new EV9 Concept measures 4,929 mm in length, 2,055 mm in width and 1,790 mm in height with a wheelbase of 3,099 mm. It is said to be slightly smaller than the Range Rover.

Maruti Suzuki YY8

Maruti Suzuki and Toyota are teaming up to develop a new electric SUV for the Indian market. The car is named YY8. The production version of the electric SUV is slated to be launched in January-February 2025. This EV SUV is co-developed by Suzuki. Apart from that, it will be manufactured at Toyota and Suzuki’s Gujarat plant.
