The team of the Lankaran State Drama Theater presented in Baku on the stage of the hall of the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan (STDA) the play “The Müqəssir”, staged based on the work of Abdurragim bey Hagverdiyev “Kimdir müqəssir?” (“Who is to blame?”), reports Day.Az.

The screening took place within the framework of the “Qonaq teatr” (Guest Theatre) project, implemented by the Ministry of Culture and the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan.

The production director of the play is Abdulla Elshadly, the production designer is Tarlan Sadigov, and the composer is Azer Hajiaskerli. The roles were performed by People’s Artist Gabil Guliyev, actors Saleh Azimzadeh, Vafa Hajizadeh, Nizami Gurbanov, Gunel Abbaszadeh, Maleyka Jafarova, Teymur Hajizadeh and Amil Ibrahimli.

In the story, a man and woman are given a chance to change their lives, but they fail the test.

After the performance, which was received by the public with great interest, director Abdullah Elshadli was awarded a certificate of honor from the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan.
