Bank Hapoalim CEO Dov Kotler, Announced this morning the appointment of Ivy Container Herzog to CEO of Poalim Hi-Tech. For the past three and a half years, Kisos Herzog has managed PEPPER, part of the Leumi Group.
Ivy Herzog has over a decade of experience in digital banking, fintech, strategy and business development. Kisos Herzog holds a bachelor’s degree in law and a bachelor’s degree in economics, both from Tel Aviv University, and a master’s degree in business administration (specializing in finance and marketing) from Reichman University.
In the last year and a half, with the transfer of high-tech activity from the retail division to the business division, there has been dramatic growth in high-tech activity at the Bank, both in terms of banking activity in growth companies, strategic investment in venture capital funds. Thousands of startups in the process of raising investments, events to create connections between startups and investors and more.
At the same time, and against the background of the dramatic growth of the field in the Israeli market, it was decided to expand the Bank’s focus in the field in order to meet the market’s needs and develop value propositions for the high – tech customers in focus.
Meanwhile, the high-tech unit in the United States will be strengthened while continuing to accompany the development of hundreds of companies in the growth process abroad through the bank’s branch in New York BHI TECH.
High-tech workers have an extensive network of connections and collaborations with the leading entities in the ecosystem, including investors, venture capital funds, accelerators, incubators, lawyers and accountants. Poalim Hi-Tech provides a full banking service and offers a wide range of banking products, financing products and tools designed for entrepreneurs, companies and funds through 10 high-tech units spread across the country and a high-tech business center that provides service to growth companies and specializes in high-tech financing managed by Tomer Notkin. Meanwhile, there is extensive activity to promote high-tech in the periphery and among underprivileged populations, in Arab and ultra-Orthodox society, in high-tech training programs and educational programs in the field.
In parallel with this appointment, Adi Horowitz Lavie will replace the Batsheva Moshe In her position as head of the high-tech workers’ field, in light of Moshe’s announcement of her retirement and appointment to a senior position in the high-tech field.
