“Israeli” representation in the Women’s Copa America: The Colombian team announced today (Monday) the squad for the continental tournament that will open on July 8. One of the players invited to the squad is Sandra Spolvada, the goalkeeper of Hapoel Marmorek last season.

The 34-year-old goalkeeper has 18 appearances for the national team, and is expected to be one of the backup goalkeepers on the Colombian bench. Spelvada arrived in Israel three years ago, and before moving to Marmorek, she played for the reigning champion, MS Kiryat Gat, for two years.

After the Colombian championship, she is expected to return to Israel, to her third planned stop in the country: the newcomer, Hapoel Petah Tikva. Tamir Hofi, who served as Marmorek’s manager last season, is expected to make the move to a position with the Malabes and as a reinforcement he decided to add the goalkeeper, in his best eyes in Israel and in the gap.
