This was achieved by ensuring tram priority by introducing a “green wave” in the traffic light signal on Krišjāņa Baronas, Lastādijas and Latgales streets.

Therefore, from July 15, changes will be made to the timetable of tram routes 1, 7 and 11, reducing the travel time between stops.

On the 1st tram route towards Jugla and towards Imanta, the travel time will be reduced by three minutes.

On tram route 11 in the direction of Ausekļa Street and in the direction of Mežaparka, the travel time will be reduced by two minutes.

On tram route 7 in the direction of Ausekļa street and in the direction of Ķengaragu, the travel time will be reduced by two minutes.

The departure times from the end points on tram routes 1, 7 and 11 will not change.
