From 02.09.2024, admission of statements for assistance under the state scheme help “Assistance in the form of a discount on the value of the excise duty on gas oilused in primary agricultural production”. Farmers can submit applications according to templates to the municipal agricultural office at the permanent address of natural persons or individual traders or at the management address of legal entities, by 26.09.2024.
The budget of the state aid scheme for 2024 is as high as BGN 100 million and is approved by the Law on the State Budget.
We remind you that until 2020, the budget for state aid for gas oil was BGN 84 million, after which it was increased to BGN 100 million Since then, the fuel discount from the duty value is BGN 0.41 excise per litre, i. because only in 2021 it was set at BGN 0.43.
The measure is a scheme to support farmers from the Crop and Livestock sectors, registered under the Law for the Support of Agricultural Producers, by applying a reduced rate of excise duty on fuel for mechanized production activities. The part of the value of the excise duty corresponding to the individual amount of the state aid is reimbursed to the farmer.
The discount per liter of gas oil will be determined at a later stage, according to the annual aid budget and the sum of the farmers’ individual annual quotas.
