Rivlin’s congratulations

The double challenge was held on Friday and the Israel national team then stayed in the Arab metropolis for Shabbat.
The Israeli president, Reuven Rivlin, congratulated the two teams and wished to be able to reciprocate the hospitality “very soon”. “Political leaders can sign the agreements but for true peace the populations must create bonds of friendship and cooperation in every sector,” he noted. With the Abrahamic Agreements, the Emirates became the first Arab country in the Persian Gulf, and the third Arab country ever, to establish diplomatic relations with Israel.
