From the secular school to the ulpana: 15-year-old Libby in a painful song about coping and difficulties

by time news

Libby is a singer and creator only 15 years old, a studio student. From an early age, Libby discovered her love for music, and began writing, composing and performing. A few years ago, her family repented and she moved from a secular school to a religious studio – a transition that brought with it challenges and struggles, especially on the social level.

The new song, ‘And If I Could Say’, addresses these challenges in an honest and moving way, and is intended for all teens who are experiencing struggles and difficulties.

Libby writes about the song: ‘And if I could say’ was written about too long a period of social coping no
Simple. In retrospect, I grew out of the difficulty and I thank the people who created it, because thanks to them I became stronger and thanks to them the song was born.

Lyrics and melody: Libby Rosenfeld
Musical production: Gilad Shmueli
Lyrics:
And again I’m sitting in my corner
And write another song for myself
You must not reach him
And look
You can not understand
Need more than reduce
Enough touching me
really

They tried to come to me and penetrate my soul
Throw in a few empty words and wanted to give it a stage
I had heard a lot already and did not listen to anything
Yes, lucky I did not listen to anything
And I’m in your mouth all day, it’s pretty flattering to me
Look how you have changed, this time me too
They did not hear a full story
They do not know the truth
And do not forget it …

And if I could say
The words I did not say
I would go back there
And if that night
When I cried quietly
And I informed the heart that it was over

And it’s already evening
I went for a walk between thoughts
Among the most accurate silences
Try to find,
The right words
I did not say,
So I was drowned in emotions
You made me go,
Do not look for me
In others

They tried to come to me and penetrate my soul
Throw in a few empty words and wanted to give it a stage
I had heard a lot already and did not listen to anything
Yes, lucky I did not listen to anything
And I’m in your mouth all day, it’s pretty flattering to me
Look how you have changed, this time me too
They did not hear a full story
They do not know the truth
And do not forget it

And if I could say
The words I did not say
I would go back there
And if that night
When I cried quietly
And I informed the heart that it was over
