From the strangest building in town straight to McDonald’s. Ben Molina’s city

Tel Aviv Cinematheque

The strangest building in the city, one that seems to have come out of an Asher painting (next to the Chin and the central station). However, when I enter it I am filled with stoic peace. There is a quiet name that is so rare in Tel Aviv and also everything I love – movies, people who love movies, and people whose job is to produce movies. My favorite spot inside the cinematheque is the “command bridge” that connects the elevator on the 1st floor to the office space.

From the 9th

If the Cinematheque is one of the strangest buildings in the city, then it is the most beautiful building in the city. About a year ago I joined the lounge, a separate space on the 2nd floor dedicated to entrepreneurs (I put on the ticket the director of the Animation Professions Association). A pleasant environment with sweet people who do really cool things, and while I’m there I got to learn a lot from them. Sometimes they zoom in on your head, but when I go out to the beautiful balcony I remember what a privilege I am and how much it’s all worth it.

McDonald’s, London Ministor branch

The best branch in the city and the closest thing to abroad in Israel.

The track park

It goes without saying that there is a park in Tel Aviv that takes more than fifteen minutes to get from one end of it to the other (with a slow walk, of course). It is quite close to my house and allows me to escape for a moment with Noam and imagine that my email is not shouting at me. It’s a perfect combination between synthetic nature, enviable rich houses and the scent of the sea.

and tell

Faber’s cafe on Kaplan Street is a Tel Aviv gem. I was there for the first time at a lecture by Omri Angel and I discovered a place that looks and feels like New York. Beyond the place itself, there is an amazing and passionate team that manages to bring the coolest content there (now they bring Nir and Gali, which is great). And all the events there are free!
