In addition, Air Baltic plans to start flights on four new routes from Riga and five routes from Tallinn, so a total of 16 new routes will be opened from the Baltic countries.
“In order to meet the growing demand on existing routes, we have increased the frequency of flights on four direct routes from Vilnius, thus providing our customers with even more opportunities to travel,” airBaltic President and CEO Martinas Gaussas was quoted in the report.
“It is extremely important that we have daily flights to Munich, Paris Charles de Gaulle and Tallinn airports. We clearly see that next year airBaltic can become the second airline in the network of Lithuanian airports in terms of the number of passengers served, and this would be a really great achievement both for this airline and for us, in creating long-term partnerships and improving the overall communication of Lithuania,” says Lithuanian airport manager Simon Bartkus.
After analyzing passenger demand, Air Baltic plans to increase the frequency of flights on four routes from Vilnius – Malaga, Paris, Munich and Tallinn.
In addition, Air Baltic plans to start direct flights from Riga to Cluj-Napoca (Romania), Mykonos (Greece), Rzeszów (Poland) and Stavanger (Norway). Flight times in the new directions are coordinated with airBaltic flights between Riga, Vilnius and Palanga, thus ensuring smooth communication.
Air Baltic flies to more than 130 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Caucasus region from Vilnius, Riga, Tallinn, Tampere and, seasonally, Gran Canaria.
