Abu Dhabi: Fuel prices for the month of August have been announced in the UAE. Last night, the fuel price committee of the country announced the fuel price for the new month. Petrol and diesel prices have been increasing in the UAE for the past few months, but this month the prices of petrol and diesel have come down.

Super 98 petrol will be priced at AED 4.03 from August 1. In July it was 4.63 dirhams. Super 95 petrol will be priced at Dh3.92 from today. Earlier it was 4.52 dirhams. The price of E Plus 91 petrol will be 3.84 dirhams in the month of August instead of 4.44 dirhams. Diesel prices have also come down this month. A liter of diesel will cost 4.14 dirhams from today. It was 4.76 dirhams in the month of July.

Orange alert declared in some places in UAE; Chance of rain for three more days

Seven people died in the flood. Many roads and properties were damaged. The Meteorological Center has warned that rain clouds are likely to spread from the east to some interior and southern areas. Wind speed of 45 kmph is also likely tomorrow (August 1). There is also a chance of rain in the eastern and southern regions for the next three days.

Yesterday, UAE recorded the heaviest rainfall in 27 years. This was informed by the National Weather Observatory of the country. Heavy rains in Fujairah on Wednesday left several places flooded.
