Dhe band The Black Proteus with drummer Florian Kastenberger from Purgstall has been invited to a talent festival in Spain. With donations, everyone can become a sponsor of the young band and support them in entering the international music business.
“A hard-hitting and powerful Viennese melange with Austrian, Slovenian and Turkish origins” – this is the description of the Viennese rock band The Black Proteus. The band also includes 21-year-old drummer Florian Kastenberger from Purgstall. In order to finance a tour in Spain, the young musicians have now started a crowdfunding campaign in which anyone can become a sponsor of the band.
“We’ve been invited to a music festival in Spain,” explains Florian Kastenberger. The Pro Weekend Festival on October 19th in Castellon, Spain, is a so-called Show Case Festival. “There, bands can make international contacts with professionals from the music scene and possibly conclude contracts with music producers and record labels.”
The band wants to turn their way to Spain into a mini concert tour. “We want to play in Graz on October 13th, in Milan on October 14th, in Marseille on October 15th and in Barcelona on October 16th,” says drummer Florian Kastenberger. “If we can raise enough money with our sponsors.” Donations can still be made until June 21st via:
