The G20 Finance Ministers and Reserve Bank Governors meeting will be held for 4 days starting from 22nd in Bengaluru. The meeting will be chaired by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Finance Ministers and Reserve Bank Governors of G20 countries including Reserve Bank Governor Shaktikanta Das will attend. More than 72 delegates from different countries of the world are participating in this meeting.

Setting up multilateral banks to meet the challenges of the 21st century, providing financial assistance to build the cities of the future, and setting up digital technology infrastructure facilities are being discussed. Global economy, global health, international tax systems are also discussed in detail.

Natural scenes

The delegates attending the meeting also deliberated on the role of digital infrastructure facilities, national payment system. Cultural programs are also organized to expose the delegates to the culture of India. A program called ‘Walk the Dog’ has also been organized. In which they visit the Indian Institute of Science in person and hold discussions with the officials there. On the 26th, it has been arranged to see the natural scenery in Karnataka.

Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, European Union, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Turkey, England, United States are included in the G20. It is noteworthy that India has assumed the leadership of this UN.
