The result of the autopsy is clear: the body found in Bridger-Teton National Park, Wyoming, is Gabrielle, “Gabby”, Petito. But the turning point comes from the FBI. Federal agents are convinced that the 22-year-old “was killed.” At this point the doubts are dissolved: no accident. AND suspicions about Gabby’s boyfriend, Brian Laundrie 23, who has been missing for six days, are growing.
The two boys had gone on a long trip to the United States: a “coast to coast” in the old way.
Alone, with a white van converted into a camper, with a few tricks. Folding table and chairs, a camping stove, a tent for sleeping outdoors.
It is a disturbing story and also inexplicable if you look at the last digital traces left by the couple. A live report of the itinerary that began on 2 July, departing from New York. On 19 August Gabby posted an eight-minute video on Youtube: images of sunsets over the sea, forays into the forests. A few days later, on August 26, here is a photo, a selfie, of the two boyfriends. Gabrielle, smiles with her sunglasses anchored to her blond hair; Brian hugs her, also laughing: beard, hat and big dark lenses.
In reality the two would have argued furiously on August 12, in front of a supermarket in Utah.

, the young people had explained to the agents. That night, however, the cops sent Brian to sleep in the hotel. It seemed to be over there. The next day they were back together, again “on the road” in the white van. The vehicle was spotted by a video maker visiting Bridger-Teton Park, not far from the more famous Yellowstone.
Meanwhile, Gabby’s mother raised the alarm on 9/11
. The last video call of his daughter was now on 23-24 August. His post on “Instagram”, on the other hand, is dated 25 August. Then nothing more. Or rather a strange text message always addressed to home on September 1: “There is no field here in Yosemite”. That same day Brian returned to his parents’ home in North Port, Florida. He stayed there at least until September 17. The FBI ransacked the house and is now looking for him as suspect number one.
