Gabby Petito strangled death: this is the result of the autopsy performed on the body of the 22-year-old influencer who disappeared in late August while she was on a road trip to America with her boyfriend and found lifeless in the National Forest of Wyoming after a little less than four weeks. And death, even if at this point we can speak of murder, would go back to the days of the disappearance.
in the meantime the hunt for the main suspect continues:
in fact, the FBI is looking for Brian Laundrie, the 23-year-old boyfriend of the girl, who has become untraceable since the young woman’s parents had reported her missing. A warrant for his arrest hangs on him for using a credit card in the girl’s name between August 30 and September 1, after the influencer had already been killed. A “minor” accusation to allow the boyfriend to be stopped in order to ascertain his role in the dramatic affair. Steve Bertolino, Laundrie’s lawyer, however, tried to minimize the responsibilities of his client, explaining that the arrest warrant for Brian Laundrie related to activities that took place after the death of Gabby Petito and not related to his actual disappearance.
The death of Gabby Petito shocked American public opinion, also because the murder interrupted the story on social networks that the girl was making of the trip in a van equipped as a camper to tour the woods and prairies of the United States. The young woman, who lived in the house of her boyfriend’s parents in North Port (Florida) before the trip, last seen alive on August 27 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, less than fifty kilometers from where his remains were later found.
On that occasion, a witness said, she had intervened to quell a violent quarrel between Brian Laundrie and a hostess in a Tex-Mex restaurant: She was visibly angry. She was really upset. She was crying. Previously, as witnessed by a video released by the Utah police, the couple had been the protagonist of a stormy quarrel that had required the intervention of the agents, to whom the two had declared that they were in love with each other and that soon they would get married.
The long journey was supposed to take 4 months and it had started in July. Then on September 1st Briana Laundrie returned home alone. According to reports from his parents during the interrogations, the boy allegedly went on a hike in the woods alone and never found Gabby Petito, whose disappearance was reported by her mother on 11 September. From that moment on, the fiancé fled.
