DIG/ The first airline in the Cemac space, Farewell, and the European leader in air transport, Air France, have just set up a new product which will now allow any passenger in transit in Libreville towards another local or regional destination to have only one transport ticket.
This inclusive product will provide the opportunity to have a direct end-to-end route between Air France and Afrijet.
The objective pursued being to make Libreville a Hub in the sub-region.
The new product was presented, on February 16, 2024, to the Minister of Economy and Participations, Mays Mouissi by the ADG of Afrijet, Marc Gaffajoli and the General Director Central Africa of Air France, Eric Louveau.
The government member requested explanations on the application of compensation as provided for in European legislation on the subject in the event of delay. Likewise, for the care of passengers in transit knowing that flights are carried out at night from Libreville.
Air France has confirmed that European legislation should apply in the event of compensation and that passengers in transit would be taken care of for flights carried out the next day.
