Gabon cancels Visa exemption for European Union countries

DIG/ Exempted since February 2023, travelers from France and member countries of the European Union and the G20 once again need a visa to travel to Gabon, reports the visanews site citing a source from the High Representative Embassy of Gabon in France.

“French citizens must obtain a visa, and this is the same for all nationalities previously exempt from visas »indicated the Gabonese Embassy in France to VisasNews, thus confirming that the visa exemption measure is no longer applied.

Without giving official explanations, tourists and business travelers from the following 43 countries must now apply for a visa before traveling to Gabon.
