DIG/ Each national airline has a dedicated terminal in the country’s capital airport.

This is now the case for the new national company FLY GABON, which has its own departure terminal for domestic flights at Léon MBA airport, allowing an easy connection to international flights.

This project, carried out in July 2024, was entrusted from A to Z to FLY GABOON, which invested 140 million CFA francs from its own funds.

FLY GABON teams, customer service specialists in the aviation sector, renovated the old ADL-GSEZ home terminal in a timely manner.

Made up of carpenters, painters, electricians, IT specialists and decorators, the technician teams took shifts day and night 7/7, to complete the departure terminal of the national pavilion.

They achieved, in check-in and boarding areas:

  • Painting and varnishing of the floors
  • Cladding of wooden structures, walls and partitions in Gabon
  • Lighting redesign (LED)
  • Creation of 160 individual seats in economy class, replacing the tiled rotunda
  • Install frescoes that show a parrot flying above the equatorial forest
  • Installation of the FLYGABON sign and its lighting, highlighting the three parrots of the logo in national colors
  • Rehabilitation of the Business lounge with a capacity of 12 seats, with a bar and dedicated toilets
  • Implementation of passenger services (television with continuous news channels for adults, Wi-Fi, children’s corner, etc.)
  • Installation of computer software for passenger check-in and boarding
  • Installation of new X-ray machines for inspection/screening by ONSFAG teams

The terminal has been renovated and now contrasts with the dilapidated housing provided by the GSEZ Airport.

When will the same thing happen in Port Gentil?
