To this end, a team from the loans and disbursements department of the World Bank was dispatched to Libreville from December 8 to 13, to introduce the new signatories to the use of the electronic disbursement system.

The continuation of existing projects and the preparation of new operations will be done according to the World Bank’s usual rules of engagement, it is indicated.

However, lThe resumption of development policy financing operations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Evidence of the effective resumption of disbursements from the World Bank, The Bretton Woods institution invited the government to take all measures for the upcoming signing of the financing agreement for the Gabon Digitale project, the deadline for entry into force of which is set at December 31, 2023.

The Ministry of Economy and Participations, which had given itself the mission of calming relations between Gabon and its main multilateral donors, is certainly succeeding in its bet.
