DIG/ On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, the Prime Minister of the Transition, Raymond Ndong Sima, had an important working session with the new Africa director of Total Energies, Mike Sangster.

The latter came to present to the Head of Government the new vision of his group which, beyond oil and gas exploitation, is also dedicated to providing the renewable energy essential for the preservation of the ecosystem.

“It was important to share with the Prime Minister of the Transition the actions that we intend to carry out in Gabon.

A trajectory which consists of developing in everything electrical and renewable energies” said Henri-Max Ndong Nzue, the outgoing director.

Today, Total Energies wants to go further through other investments. Notably in the solarization project of the Nkok Special Investment Zone and the partnership that links it with Gabon Power Company (GPC) on hydroelectric projects.

Just like, the French multinational wishes to continue its oil activities through production of around 20,000 barrels per day.
