Prime Minister Gabriel Attal won the second round of legislative elections, Sunday July 7, in the 10th district of Hauts-de-Seine, with 58.2% of the votes, ahead of Socialist Cécile Soublet, candidate of the New Popular Front (NFP), who received 41.8% of the votes cast. He came first in the first round with 43.8% of the votes, against Ms. Soubelet (35.5%).

“No vote should go to National Rally”, he launched between two rounds, he surrendered his destructive attacks to the NFP and had the idea to build the majority that gathered right, left and center, to avoid the far-right group to have access to the power. He defended the removal of candidates from the presidential camp in a bad position for the second round, confirming, however, that this “doesn’t mean loading” and repeat that it is “Enough against La France insoumise that we cannot [le] tax » to join Mr. Mélenchon.

Elected to Matignon in January, Gabriel Attal was elected deputy for this region for the first time in 2017. In 2022, he was re-elected with 59.8% of the votes, previously against Cécile Soublet (40.1%).
