Singer Gabriela Rocha warned her followers on social media about the importance of seeking discernment about the consumption of entertainment that does not build Christian life, addressing issues such as horror films, BBB, sensual dances on TikTok, among others.
Gabriela pointed out that there is a lot of entertainment that carries with it the devotion to evil of its creators: “I’ve already watched horror films. I don’t know what feelings you had, but it’s not light. So, yes, guys, there are many films that are renowned [ao mal] and they release evil spirits during that movie,” he declared.
The singer then questioned the motivation of those who give an audience to reality shows and social media profiles that explore sensuality: “It is important for you to discern your eyes. ‘Ah, I watch BBB every day’. Recently, the singer Fernandinho sparked controversy on social media due to a video with an excerpt from his preaching, in which he questions the motivation of a Christian who listens to songs produced by secular artists: “This controversy about listening to world music… all of this is an influence on very big people . “In the same way that you listen to Christian music and you feel the glory and Holy Spirit of God, something is released into your life. I for one, when I do any video recording, I pray for the Holy Spirit to flow through me, for me to disappear, for God’s love, kindness, healing, Holy Spirit to flow through me. This is my prayer”, he pointed out, then adding an opposite scenario: “In the same way that I use music for this, other people use music in the opposite way, for bad things”.
