New Delhi: Disruption in the BJP Parliamentary Board. Former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa has been inducted into the board. Former Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonewal and OBC Morcha National President K Laxmana are on the board. Nitin Gadkari and Shivraj Singh Chouhan were left out.

BJP’s high-powered Central Parliamentary Board and Central Election Committee have been reorganized. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have lost their seats. Yeddyurappa and Sarbananda Sonewal have been included in both the committees.

Mahilamorcha national president Vanithi Srinivasan has been included in the election committee. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav have also been included in the election committee.

When the committees were reconstituted, B.S. Yeddyurappa was included in both committees. This is an unprecedented position for him who lost the post of Chief Minister of Karnataka last year. Also, Gadkari’s omission was unexpected.
