Member of the Central Executive Council of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Amir of Dhaka Metropolitan South Nurul Islam Bulbul said that the youth is a valuable asset of any country. National development and progress is largely dependent on the active participation of the youth. The future of the nation is determined by the talent, creativity, courage and talent of the youth. As a result, one has to perform one’s duty with courage, wisdom and intelligence in any situation. Along with students, the youth should continue to play a strong role in the streets to convey the benefits of the uprising to the countrymen.
He said these things in his address as the chief guest at the Youth and Volunteer Divisional Police Station representative meeting of Dhaka Metropolitan South on Wednesday (August 14).
Assistant Secretary of Dhaka City and in-charge of Youth Department, Muhammad Kamal Hossain, spoke as a special guest in the gathering – Central Working Council Member and Secretary of Dhaka City South. Shafiqul Islam Masud, member of the Central Majlish Shura and Nayeb Amir Advocate of Dhaka Metropolitan South. Helal Uddin Also present were members of the Shura in the Central Majlis and Dhaka Metropolitan Assistant Secretary Delwar Hossain and Dr. Abdul Mannan, Dhaka Metropolitan Working Council member Shamsur Rahman, Dr. Mubarak Hossain, Abdus Salam etc.
Referring to the ongoing political crisis in the country, Nurul Islam Bulbul said that the country and the nation are going through a deep transitional period. In this situation, the youth must make a united effort for the true liberation of the country and the nation. Otherwise, we will not be liberated.
Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud said that the history of the world has been built by the hands of the youth. The big achievements of Bangladesh are also the result of the hard work of the youth. Our big achievements have come in the hands of energetic youth like Haji Shariatullah, Shaheed Titumir. Therefore, there is no chance for the nation to sit at home in this transitional period, but to fly the flag of truth and take a fresh oath to realize our desired dreams.
