Galaxy Z Flip 4 leaks show a flat metal frame and prominent cameras

by time news

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 4 with its alleged debut in August, and based on the information we’ve gathered so far, this upcoming foldable phone won’t differ much from the Galaxy Z Flip 3. At least, not in terms of the exterior design.

However, there should be some slight differences. Two of these differences have been highlighted in the new design It was leaked. The image shows the profile of the foldable phone coming from top to bottom.

Galaxy Z Flip 4 will have a flatter frame and more prominent cameras

Judging from this new rendering, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will have a flat metal frame that surrounds the two halves of the device. The side buttons may be enlarged a bit – although it’s hard to be sure – and the dual-camera casing may protrude a bit more compared to a previous version of the same phone.

Overall, the new CAD rendering supports hands-on images that were leaked in the Galaxy Z Flip 4 last month and gives us a better view of the foldable phone’s appearance and frame design.

With the release of every new Z Flip model, Samsung appears to have moved away from the rounded edges to a more massive design, which arguably fits the clamshell foldable phone better. The flat edges should also provide a grip for the phone that is less slippery.

The latest Korean brochure can be announced on the 10th of August, and Samsung may be planning to release it two weeks later in the same month. There is clearly nothing official until this is done, and in theory, some of the leaked design elements remain subject to change. But with only a few weeks away from Samsung’s Unpacked event, we don’t expect the upcoming foldable device to be very different from what we’ve seen so far.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 were recently approved by the FCC and NBTC, indicating an imminent launch.

Samsung’s foldable phones replace the popular Galaxy Note series, which was offset by the launch of the stylus with the Ultra version in the S series.
