In honor of the tenth anniversary of the morning program “Galit and Yoav” on Beshet 12, Yoav Limor decided to surprise Galit Gutman on the air, and chose guests who had a very special meaning for her, and Maram could not hold back the tears.
Shira Vern, Gutman’s cousins to whom she is particularly close, were seen on the screen. Ran’s story was revealed about a year ago, when an episode of severe violence against helpless Hussi was discovered in the “Perah” residence in Rosh Ha’Ain. Gutman then tearfully revealed that her cousin Ran is one of those guardians who suffered violence. Since then, she has taken it upon herself to raise awareness of the issue.

As soon as Gutman saw Shira Vern, she burst into tears from excitement and was unable to speak. Her excitement even increased when Ran said her name to the camera. After a few minutes when she was able to speak, Gutman said that her cousin Ran was injured at birth due to medical negligence for a few seconds without oxygen.
“Ran changed and changed the family,” said Gutman, “During these years, it was very easy for us to have everyone at home, and we would know that Ran was being treated. But more than a year ago, we found out that he was in the worst possible place. Since then, it has been a crazy wake-up call for the whole family , and we were privileged, out of all the sadness and grief, to be so close. Once a week I go to visit Ran, and this is the greatest gift I could receive in my life. The smile when he sees me coming, the hug he gives me and the happiness I manage to convey to him when I’m there.”
