After the chat with Igor Vinícius, SPFC Play now brings an interview with midfielder Galoppo who, like the right-back, ended the season recovered from injury and now lives with the expectation of strengthening Tricolor in 2024.
“I’m happy, because I didn’t train with my teammates for a while, but now I’m recovered and I want to have a good pre-season to start well next year,” he said.
The Argentine player suffered the injury in March, during the duel with Água Santa in the Paulistão quarter-finals, when he was experiencing his best moment for Tricolor: he was the team’s top scorer until then, with eight goals scored.
“Really, it was difficult. I was very optimistic at the beginning of the year that it would be an incredible season. I couldn’t help the team on the field, but I was very happy for the club and my teammates’ achievement,” he said.
During the recovery period, Galoppo counted on the encouragement of #TorcidaQueConduz. “I have no words to describe the support I received from the fans. The fans made me feel the affection, and I am very grateful for that”, he concluded.
Hired in 2022, the midfielder played 32 games for São Paulo, scored nine goals and provided two assists.
