Galtier “satisfied with the young players” of PSG

Christophe Galtier had lined up three entry titis. PSG suffered but won at Châteauroux.

Christophe Galtier, PSG coach, winner of Châteauroux 3-1, in the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France:

«There is the satisfaction of being qualified. These tricks are difficult. The start was in line with what I expected, with the opener. Afterwards my team was cut in two and that gave a lot of hope to Châteauroux. Did we think things were going to be easy? May be.

In the second period, we defended higher. (…) I was satisfied with the young players. They were serious and on pace. I really liked Ismaël (Gharbi) in the game. Warren (Zaire-Emery) was of a good level. El Chadaille (Bitshiabu) was unhappy (on the goal conceded, editor’s note)

I expected a complex situation with the absence of many players and different states of form. We will see which ones we will recover for Angers. Teams that have had a lot of players at the World Cup are struggling to restart at the start of the year. We will quickly have to refocus on the objectives.»
