Magazines and cultural and entertainment websites in the world and in Israel like to publish lists of the “best songs of the last decade”, “the best albums of the 20th century” or “the best movies of all time”. These lists always provoke controversy among the fans of the various artists and works and create a discourse around them. This time, in (coincidental) proximity to Rosh Hashanah, the prestigious magazine decided “Rolling Stone” to rank the “100 best TV series of all time” list. Once again, the list caused a few eyebrows to be raised.
The new list, updated from the magazine’s original 2016 article, includes a wide variety of shows, from “Seinfeld” to “Game of Thrones.” A panel of actors, showrunners and critics helped compile the list, which was released last Monday. So which show came out on top?
