Order of the International Olympic Committee

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has ordered the cancellation of all sporting events in Russia.
Russian forces are launching an aggressive offensive against Ukraine. The three-pronged attack, which was carried out by air, sea and land, caused great casualties. Russian forces have attacked and destroyed numerous Ukrainian military targets.
This has created a tense situation in Ukraine and Russia. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has ordered the cancellation of all sporting events in Russia.
According to the International Olympic Committee:
The Russian and Belarusian governments have violated the Olympic agreement. The safety of athletes should be given absolute priority. All sports federations have been ordered to relocate or cancel all sporting events in Russia and Belarus.
Thus it is stated.
