With the music “Haine&Sex” by rapper Gazo in the background, Gane made a sensational entry into the octagon, while his opponent Tuivasa opted for a Parisian nod to the flamboyant years of the Moulin Rouge with the music “Lady Marmalade by Patti LaBelle. Apart from a few well-placed kicks, the first round was relatively calm with two concentrated fighters, preferring to analyze their opponent’s attitude in order to better establish their respective strategy for the rest of the duel.
