The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) reported that it imposed sentences of up to 1,071 years in prison for several MS-13 gang members who committed 121 crimes between 2014 and 2018.
“These individuals operated in the east of the country and their convictions served to bring justice,” said the Attorney General’s Office.
They are charged with the following crimes: ️28 aggravated homicides. 1 femicide. ️4 deprivations of liberty. 50 cases of proposal and conspiracy to commit homicide. ️38 aggravated extortions. 9 preparatory cases of illicit trafficking. 3 cases of illicit trafficking and terrorist organizations.
“Some of the victims of this structure were a father and his son who were intercepted by these individuals and shot to death. The incident occurred in July 2018. The motive for the double homicide was because the gang members considered the victims to be PNC informants,” the FGR said.
