The 2nd season of the cricket series called Legends Cricket Tournament will start on September 17. But a special match will be held in Kolkata on September 16. In this, the Indian Maharaja team and the World Giants team will face each other.
Ganguly will captain the Indian team in this tournament which is being held to celebrate 75 years of India’s independence. Similarly, action player Virendra Sehwag has been paired with him in the team. Similarly, Mohammad Khaib is also included in the Indian Maharaja team.
Also experienced players like Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Tamil Nadu player Badrinath, Parthiv Patel, Stuart Binny, Harbhajan Singh, Sreesanth are also going to play for Indian Maharaja team.
Star players like Naman Ojha, Ashok Dinda, Pragyan Ojha, Ajay Jadeja, RB Singh and Joginder Sharma who played in action last season are also playing for Maharaja. Former captain Ravi Shastri will act as the commissioner of this series. Ravi Shastri and Ganguly have joined after a long time.
Former England captain Ian Morgan has been selected as the captain of the World Giants team. Kallies, Jayasuriya and Muttiah Muralitharan are included in this team.
