Defense Minister Bnei Gantz recently (Tuesday) referred to a conversation he had with Egyptian intelligence chief Abbas Kamel on the occasion of the Feast of Sacrifice. In addition, the defense minister spoke with him about locating the graves of Egyptian soldiers who fought in the Six Day War.
Gantz recounted his conversation with the Egyptian intelligence chief: “I spoke last night with my friend, the Egyptian intelligence chief, Abbas Kamel, and wished him and the entire Egyptian people Eid al-Adha Mubarak. Because the defense establishment will work to locate them and examine the issue with sensitivity and respect. “
He added that “in a conversation I thanked Kamel for his contribution to the important partnership between the two countries, and for Egypt’s function as a pillar of peace and stability in the region.
