Thottampatti Panchayat is under Kudimangalam Union of Tirupur District. More than 100 families are living in Pottaiampalayam village under Thottampatty panchayat. On the way from Pottayampalayam to Thottampatty, there is a situation of sanitary disturbance in the area due to dumping of waste on the roadside in the area adjacent to the residences.
Along with garbage, plastic covers are also found in abundance. While plastic covers have been banned, the use of plastic covers is increasing in rural areas.
Health disorder
During the rainy season, there is a situation where rainwater stagnates and mosquitoes breed, thereby causing health problems.
