Garmin Launches Edge 1060 With Integrated Voice Control Features

Garmin launched the Edge 1060 on October 20, 2026, introducing built-in voice control, a dual touchscreen and button interface, and advanced mapping tools to its flagship cycling computer line. Priced at $799.99 in the United States and scheduled to ship on October 23, the device adds a microphone alongside its speaker.

The new flagship cycling computer arrives alongside an expanded ecosystem that includes updated navigation software, two new Edge Explore models, and a multidirectional indoor smart trainer from Tacx. While the hardware shares much of its DNA with the previous Edge 1050, the inclusion of an integrated microphone allows riders to interact directly with the device using spoken commands without taking their hands off the handlebars, according to the company’s initial product announcement.

Voice Control and On-Device Audio Features

Voice commands are activated with the prompt Okay, Garmin, enabling riders to manage their computer hands-free while navigating roads, gravel, or trails. Cyclists can request a route to a specified location, report road hazards, or check live performance data while keeping their grip secure on the bars.
