At least 18 people were injured in explosion gas at a shopping mall in the Philippines’ Oriental Mindoro province on the morning of June 29.
Police said the explosion happened at around 10:20 a.m. (local time) inside mall in the city of Calapan. In addition to 18 people injured, at least 13 cars parked outside this center were also damaged after the explosion.
Preliminary investigation results showed that a gas leak from a Korean restaurant was the cause of the explosion.

Calapan mayor Malou Morillo said that among the injured were four employees of the restaurant, a young delivery man and many customers.
Officials said the injured victims all had third-degree burns, including two Korean nationals who were dining at restaurant above. All the injured have been taken to the hospital.
