Gas talks between Gazprom and Moldova took place in St. Petersburg

Gas talks between Russia and Moldova took place in St. Petersburg, Gazprom’s press service reported. They were attended by the chairman of the board of the Russian corporation Alexey Miller, as well as the vice-premier of Moldova Andrei Spinu and the head of Moldovagaz Vadim Ceban.

The parties continued discussing the terms of a new contract for the supply of Russian gas to the republic.

Another topic of the talks was the current issues of interaction between Gazprom and Moldovagaz.

Earlier, the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov indicated that negotiations with Moldova on gas are exclusively commercial in nature.
