The Basques have already hit the road to enjoy a few days of vacation for Holy Week and Easter. For those who use a private vehicle, the price of gasoline and diesel is decisive. Without discounts since April 1 by the vast majority of companies and without the 20 cents per liter offered by the Government, drivers seek to refuel in the most economical way. This is the list of all the pumps in Euskadi.

Those who want to fill up their tanks in Bizkaia have the cheapest diesel A gas station in Basauri, at the Urbi Low Cost pump, at a price of 1,389 euros. For its part, Premium diesel, at 1,419 euros, can be found at Ballenoil de Lemoa.

The pumps with the cheapest 95 gasoline in the territory are in Zeanuri, at the Barazar SA Auto service station, and in Basauri, at Urbi Low Cost, at a price of 1,539 euros. For its part, the cheapest 98 gasoline is found at the Eroski de Abadiño gas station.

The cheapest Premium diesel is found in Ballenoil de Vitoria, at 1,399 euros. The cheapest 95 gasoline is found in Petroprix, Carbes, Gm Oil, Gamarra Low Cost and Ona Low cost, at a price of 1,519 euros.

For its part, gasoline 98, at 1,649 euros, at the Gamarra Low Cost, Ona Low cost and GM Oil pumps.

In Gipuzkoa, the cheapest diesel A is in Elgoibar, at the Petroprix, at 1,349 euros. Premium diesel, at 1,469 euros, at EasyGas (Hondarribia) and MLC (Elgoibar). The cheapest 95 gasoline is in Petroprix (Elgoibar) at 1,529 euros. And the 98 in the Alcampo de Irun, at 1,719 euros.

Those who travel these days will not see their budget to refuel their vehicle particularly increased. At least “until next week.” However, the cut in oil production announced by the OPEC countries puts an end to the declines in fuel costs that have been recorded since October.

This was explained to EL CORREO this Tuesday by the president of the Association of Service Stations of Bizkaia, Nuria Lekue. The message that the countries with crude oil deposits have wanted to convey has been clear: they will not tolerate Brent being sold below 80 dollars a barrel. And that is going to cause, as Lekue explained, that the price of unleaded 95 does not drop from the current 1.67 euros per liter throughout the year.

As for diesel, more of the same, until the next grapes the best price that can be expected is the current 1.53 euros per liter on average that was paid this seas in Euskadi. What’s more, JP Morgan analysts assume that the price of a barrel of oil will end the year at around 96 euros. The last time crude was at these indices was in September and, a month later, diesel rose to 1.98 euros per liter and gasoline to 179 cents.
