Gasoline price rises 0.7% in the week, survey points out

The average price of Gasoline at the posts of fuels spread throughout the country increased by 0.7% in the third week of February, compared to the previous week, reaching R$ 5.26 per liter. The survey was carried out by a consultancy based on transactions carried out in more than 25 thousand establishments. Whereas the average price of ethanol hydrous, which competes with gasoline, fell by almost 2.94%, compared to the last week, reaching R$3.87. O diesel S-10, less polluting, plummeted by almost 6%, reaching an average value of R$ 6.90

The consultancy responsible for the survey specializes in management solutions for vehicle fleets throughout Brazil. According to the survey data, there are different reasons for fluctuations in fuel prices. Petrobras exercised two movements in the market, one of increase in the price of gasoline and another of reduction in the price of diesel oil. The reduction in oil was significant, R$ 0.40. The liter that was sold at R$ 4.50 in refineries now costs R$ 4.10
