Meet Gaurav Sabharwal, who became a saffron farmer by learning from the internet, who learned to grow saffron from the internet and today he is doing business worth lakhs from this work. Gaurav Sabharwal of Himachal Pradesh had no knowledge of farming till some time ago. His father owned a shoe shop and after his father’s death, he was managing the same shop. After some time, he did not see any hope of moving forward in this work. After this Gaurav was looking for a new business. Then through the internet he got information about growing saffron indoor. He liked the idea so much that he decided to grow saffron for the first time in the mushroom capital Solan. It was also a risk but I took this risk. I started it by doing research on the internet.

Today, with the help of funds received from the Prime Minister Startup Scheme and his hard work, Gaurav has not only become a successful saffron farmer but is also showing the way to new employment by training other youth of Himachal in the same.
