New York,

Last week, Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani moved up to second place in the world’s richest people list. With this, Gautam Adhani became the second richest person in the world after Elon Musk.

In this situation, Adani has now suffered a setback in the list of the world’s richest people. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Adani has slipped to the third position with a net worth of $135 billion (Rs 10.98 lakh crore).

Jeff Bezos has climbed back to the No. 2 spot on the list with a net worth of $138 billion (Rs. 11.23 lakh crore). At the same time, Elon Musk remains at the top of the list with a net worth of $245 billion. Reliance Group chairman Mukesh Ambani is worth $82.4 billion (₹6.70 lakh crore) in the list. He is ranked 11th in wealth.

Adani, Bezos and Bernard Arnold have been in fierce competition for the top spot in the world’s billionaires list in recent days.

In February this year, Gautam Adani became Asia’s richest man, overtaking Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani. The following July, Adani overtook Microsoft’s Bill Gates to become the world’s fourth-richest person.

He subsequently became the third-richest person on August 30, overtaking French businessman Bernard Arnold. Then last week he moved up to number 2 on the list for the first time. The Hurun India Rich List reported that Gautam Adani earned an average of over Rs 1,600 crore per day last year.
